The 2-bottle kit is the only one where shipping is charged at checkout. The 3-bottle kit ($207) and the 6-bottle kit ($294) both ship free in the US. That is on top of the lower per-bottle price those two kits already carry.
So moving from the 2-bottle kit to the 3-bottle kit changes two numbers at once: the per-bottle price drops from $79 to $69, and the shipping charge that applied on the 2-bottle kit goes away. Both of those add up faster than the total prices alone suggest.
